How does the free trial work?+
After you sign up, choose Solo or Pro and the trial starts: 14 days or 10 hours of recording, whichever comes first. No card is required, and nothing is charged when the trial ends. You can end the trial early or buy the plan at any time — buying ends the trial. A Pro trial is for up to 5 people, who share the trial hours and the AI Assistant limits of the Solo plan. You get one free trial of each plan per person, workspace or Discord server.
What happens after the trial if I don't buy a plan?+
Nothing is charged. Your workspace switches to read-only: you can still open recordings, read transcripts, download summaries and export your data, but recording, uploads and the AI Assistant need an active plan. The Terms of Service describe how long your data is kept.
What counts as recording time?+
The length of every meeting the Algopulse assistant records on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Discord, of every conversation you record in the browser, and of every audio or video file you upload. Transcription and the meeting summary are included in that time. The app shows your usage in hours and minutes.
Does a paused recording use time?+
Yes. While a recording is paused, the assistant stays in the meeting without recording, and that time still counts toward your recording hours. If you don't need the rest of the meeting, end the recording instead of pausing it.
How long can a single recording be?+
Up to 8 hours. When a recording reaches 8 hours, it ends and the assistant leaves the meeting.
What happens when I run out of hours?+
You can top up at any time with a package of 5, 10, 15 hours or any number of minutes: €1.65 an hour on Solo, €1.53 an hour on Pro. Top-ups never expire while your account exists: the hours in your plan are used first, and top-ups after them. Unused plan hours do not roll over to the next month.
How do annual plans work?+
You pay for 12 months up front and save 15% compared with paying monthly. Your recording hours are still a monthly pool: the full monthly allowance renews every month from the day your plan started, and unused hours do not carry over to the next month.
Is the AI Assistant unlimited?+
No. The AI Assistant is included in every plan under a fair use limit, measured over a rolling 5-hour window and a rolling weekly window. On Pro, the limit is shared by the whole team and grows with every extra person. The current values are in the AI Assistant fair use table. The app shows how much you have used and warns you as you approach the limit; when you reach it, questions to the assistant pause until the window renews — everything else keeps working.
Do meeting summaries count towards the AI limit?+
No. Summaries are covered by your recording time, including a new summary after you reassign speakers or remove passages from the transcript.
Can I add or remove people?+
On Pro, yes. Each extra person costs €9 a month, or €91.80 a year on annual billing, adds 5 recording hours a month to the team's pool and raises the team's AI Assistant limits. A person added during a billing period is charged pro rata, with a matching share of hours. Removing people takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no refund or credit for that period; until then the team keeps its current people and hours. Solo is for one person.
Do prices include VAT or other taxes?+
Prices in euros (EUR) and Polish zloty (PLN) include VAT where it applies. A business that gives a valid EU VAT number at checkout — including a business in Poland — pays the same amount and receives an invoice without VAT under the reverse charge. Prices in US dollars (USD) are for customers outside the EU and exclude tax: any applicable sales tax or VAT is added at checkout. Customers in the EU pay in EUR or PLN. After your first payment, your account keeps the currency you paid in.
Who sells the plans and sends the invoice?+
Solo and Pro plans, top-ups and extra people are sold through Link (Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company), which resells our service: Link takes the payment, charges any tax, sends your invoice and handles payment disputes. Algopoetica provides the service and answers for it under the Terms of Service. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* ALGOPOETICA. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Business plans are invoiced by Algopoetica under the agreement.
Can I cancel at any time?+
Yes. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel in the app, where you also see what changes for your organization — or in your Link account at link.com. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until then.
Can I withdraw from a purchase?+
If you are a consumer outside the United States, yes: you can withdraw within 14 days of each purchase — counted from the first payment for a plan, and from the purchase of each top-up — in the app, by e-mail or through Link's customer support. If you asked us to start right away, the part you have already used is deducted from the refund, and a top-up that is fully used can no longer be withdrawn from. An automatic renewal does not start a new 14-day period. The details are in § 13 of the Terms of Service (Regulamin).
Can I share recordings and summaries with people outside my plan?+
Yes. You can e-mail a meeting summary to anyone — the summary is in the message, no account needed. You can also share a recording with named people: they sign in with the e-mail address you shared it with (or create an account), then play the recording and read the summary and transcript. They can't download the audio or share it further, they don't take a seat in your plan, and you can revoke a share at any time. In an organization, the owner and admins can turn off sharing outside it.
Is there a storage limit?+
Storing your recordings, transcripts and summaries is not charged separately today. You decide how long your data is kept in the retention settings.
Which languages can Algopulse transcribe?+
About 90 languages — every language Amazon Transcribe supports for recorded audio, in every plan. That includes regional variants, such as English from the UK, the US, Australia or India, Spanish from Spain, Mexico or the US, Portuguese from Portugal or Brazil, and Chinese in simplified or traditional script. The summary, tasks and meeting title are written in the language of the meeting. The Algopulse app itself is available in English and Polish.
How is the language of a meeting chosen?+
Each workspace — your Personal workspace and every organization — has a default transcription language. It is set from the country you choose when you sign up, and the owner or an admin can change it at any time in the settings, where the languages spoken in your country are suggested first. A project can have its own default language, for example German for a project with a client in Germany; otherwise it uses the workspace's. When you upload a file or start a recording, the default language is preselected and you can pick another one, or choose Detect automatically. If a recording was transcribed in the wrong language, you can change its language afterwards: Algopulse transcribes it again and writes a new summary and tasks.
Does Algopulse detect the language automatically?+
Yes, when you choose Detect automatically — for a single recording, or as the default of a workspace or a project. Algopulse then picks from the languages suggested for your country and English, and shows the detected language with the transcript. Choosing the language yourself is still the most accurate: detection can be wrong for a short recording, poor audio or a meeting in several languages. For some languages, a meeting that mixes them — for example German and English — is transcribed with each part in its own language; otherwise a meeting is transcribed in one language, so parts in other languages may be less accurate.
Which countries is Algopulse available in?+
In 81 countries — the countries where Link, which sells our plans, handles sales tax: the 27 countries of the European Union; Albania, Gibraltar, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom; Canada and the United States; Barbados, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands and Mexico; Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Brunei, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Türkiye and Vietnam; Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
